Following the success of the ‘Online Welsh Foal Championship,’ we are now launching the ‘Cutest old Welsh Pony or Cob‘. Do you own or know of a Welsh dog that is 20 years old or older? If so, please register it.”.

What to do.

Email to webredactie.nwpcs@gmail.com One photo of the Welsh pony showing that it is 20 years old or older, along with a description of no more than 150 words explaining why this is the cutest older Welsh pony or cob. Don’t forget to include the name, pedigree, date of birth, gender, section, breeder, owner, and your own name. Email your entry before December 1, 2020.

Terms

• The pony/cob must be registered with the NWPCS or another(s) Welsh Pony and Cob studbook/association/society
• The pony/cob must be alive and at least 20 years old
• The pony/cob must be at least 20 years old in the photo
• The pony/cob must be in Dutch or Belgian ownership
• You may not submit more than 1 photo
• The photo must be of sufficient resolution to be posted on the website and social media
• The photo must be royalty free (i.e. taken by yourself or ask permission from the photographer to submit the photo for this election)
• Since it looks better on the website and Facebook, we'd prefer a landscape (horizontal) photo. In other words, a photo that is wider than it is tall. If you have a square or portrait (standing) If you like a photo better, it has just as much of a chance of winning the contest.

Election

Depending on the number of photos we receive, we (the editorial staff and the PR committee) will make a selection. The selected photos will then be posted, and people can vote on them via a poll.

The winner of the pageant will receive an NWPCS halter with rope and the winning photo will be featured in the Welsh Pony and Cob Magazine.
