VO: 7 NWR stallions pass their tests; Coelenhage’s Handsome King named performance champion

The NWPCS performance test was held on November 29 and 30 at the National Equestrian Center in Ermelo. All seven participating stallions passed, and Coelenhage’s Handsome King was named performance champion with 60 points.

Coelenhage’s Handsome King received scores of 9 for canter, character, and stable behavior, and scores of 8.5 for trot and aptitude as a dressage pony.

Highest grades

Two stallions scored 57 points: Anjershof Shadok and Nieuwmoed’s Mr. Darcy. Shadok received a 9 for behavior in the stall and an 8.5 for his canter. Mr. Darcy also received a 9 for behavior in the stall. His walk earned him an 8.5.
