Ribbon’s Glenn, the star lot at the Welsh Select Sale

At the Welsh Select Sale held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, in Lunteren, 70% of the ponies offered for auction were sold.

This year's auction highlight was the Valk Section B stallion Ribbon's Glenn (by Wolling’s Dante). A real head-turner who performed exceptionally well under saddle. He sold for €2,300.

A number of ponies have been sold abroad. For example, the well-trained Section A-certified mare Polhaars Daffodil (by Maestir Odyssey) and the Section A filly Mochyndaeer White Patchouli – also by Maestir Odyssey and from the Bengad W mare line – sold to Sweden.

In addition, the well-ridden Section A children's pony Charlie Wizard King (by Forlan Honey King) sold to High Flown Stud in Rhoon.

The strikingly colored and uniquely moving fox-colored Section B colt Defeat the King (by Bunbury Farenheit), which was presented by French breeder and owner Victor Sicard, changed hands for €750.
