Oosting Eyecatcher (by Heitrak's Marvin) was bred by Family Santema out of the crown, sport mare Oosting Donatella (Verona's Bo-Gi x Flora's Hof Magic). Anouk Schothorst competed the dark bay gelding in Z2 dressage.

Meedenblik's Gentleman

But the third highest price was also for a Welsh. The talented Meedenblik's Gentleman (Speyksbosch Dickens x Compagnon's Humphrey) was knocked off for 13,000 euros and has a new, Belgian owner. The bay gelding bred by D. and H. Dijkstra became star at the last stallion approval.

Meedenblik's General

The most expensive 2.5-year-old stallion was Kovu, a son of the NWR-bred and NWPCS-approved stallion Meedenblik's General (by Oosting Amigo). General only covered as a three-year-old and was subsequently sold for sport. With Kovu, the hammer fell at €5,500.

Category B and C

Nijenklooster's Ardanwen

The above ponies are D ponies. In the B and C category, the auction toppers were Welsh. For the popular 2.5-year-old, 1.33-meter stallion Simba, also a son of Meedenblik's General, €4,000 was paid.

The 3-year-old Welsh section A pony Nijenklooster's Ardanwen (Vikarien's Jolyan x Skywood Sea Urchin) bred by T.W. Bunschoten became the most expensive B pony with €3,750.
