The Netherlands(NWPCS) is to host the 23rd International Welsh Pony and Cob Show as part of the Welsh Pony & Cob Society’s 125 Year celebrations.

The Dutch Welsh Pony and Cob Studbook (NWPCS) is proud to have received the support of the International Committee to organise the 23rd International Welsh Show in the Netherlands! In collaboration with the Welsh Pony and Cob Society (WPCS), we are honoured to be part of the UK celebrations to the mark the significant milestone that is the 125th Anniversary of the WPCS.

Ed Gummery, Chairman of the WPCS announced:

“It is fantastic that this historic anniversary can be shared with our international members abroad as well as in Wales and the UK. The WPCS Council is pleased to lend it’s support to assist the NWPCS to host this event in this perfect location, as the Netherlands has a long and rich tradition established with the Welsh Pony & Cob Society and its members.

Richard Dekkers, Chairman of the NWPCS, is equally thrilled:

“We are incredibly proud to organise this show and to receive international recognition for our passion and dedication to the breed. We have an amazing group of volunteers, and with Henk Beudel at the helm, we are confident that this team will once again deliver an outstanding event. This edition will be truly special—not only as a celebration of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society but also demonstrates the long held international collaboration that has established our strong bonds.”

The 23rd International Welsh Show promises to be a spectacular event, bringing together breeders, enthusiasts, and riders from all over the world to showcase the versatility and beauty of the Welsh Ponies and Cobs.

Nederland (NWPCS) organiseert de 23e Internationale Welsh Pony en Cob Show als onderdeel van het 125-jarig jubileum van de Welsh Pony & Cob Society
Het Nederlands Welsh Pony en Cob Stamboek (NWPCS) is trots dat het, met steun van het Internationaal Comité, de 23e Internationale Welsh Show in Nederland mag organiseren! In samenwerking met de Welsh Pony and Cob Society (WPCS) voelen we ons vereerd om deel uit te maken van de vieringen in het Verenigd Koninkrijk ter gelegenheid van het 125-jarig bestaan van de WPCS.

Ed Gummery, voorzitter van de WPCS, kondigde aan:

“Het is fantastisch dat dit historische jubileum zowel met onze internationale leden in het buitenland als in Wales en het Verenigd Koninkrijk gedeeld kan worden. De Raad van Bestuur van de WPCS is verheugd haar steun te verlenen aan het NWPCS voor de organisatie van dit evenement op deze perfecte locatie. Nederland heeft immers een lange en rijke traditie opgebouwd met de Welsh Pony & Cob Society en haar leden.”
